In Years 7,8 and 9 pupils follow Key Stage 3 of the National Curriculum in each subject. Pupils sit end of year internal exams in June to assess attainment levels.


In years 10 and 11 pupils study for International GCSEs from the Edexcel Examination Board and InterHigh school currently offers the following subjects: English Language, English Literature, Maths, Double Award Science, History, Geography, French , Spanish. Pupils sit these exams in Year 11. The Edexcel examinations are usually held during May.


The school issues pupils and Parents with a list of recommended text books and resources that support the subjects taught. These are usually restricted to one book per subject at KS 3 level.
