FIRST EVER INTERHIGH WEEKEND, April 2009 |

A pupil account:
The excitement of meeting all my class mates, teachers was all built up and was ready to come out. A weekend that became the best ever! I had never met anybody from InterHigh and I could not wait! As everyone arrived there was an instant connection like they had met millions of times before. Everyone was having a good catch up, chatting and excitement filled the air. The first night a disco! Party time, everyone was dancing and having a good time, the karaoke was funny, even the teachers had a go! A great first day!
Saturday morning and the air were filled with anticipation for the rest of the day. Two programmes were available, drama or sport. Suitable for all the kids! Both programmes were very successful, everyone having a good time! That evening everybody relaxed with a good movie and had a good nights rest.
The next and final day of the weekend, performances were held by both groups, the drama with an energetic dance routine and a short play that they had completely created by themselves and the sport showed off their skills with drills and games. After lunch was the feedback and departures, everybody enjoyed the weekend and didn’t want to leave. A weekend in history.
