Do we have to register with local authority?
If your child is registered with a school parents must write to the school informing them that their child is receiving education otherwise than at school. It is the school`s responsibility to inform the local authority about the change. For more information on this area visit the education-otherwise site listed in the links area.
What are international GCSEs?
These are very similar to standard GCSEs but designed with an international flavour and can be 100% exam based with no coursework element.
Where do I sit my GCSEs?
Edexcel have centres around the UK where students can sit these GCSEs.
Overseas students can sit the exams in British Council offices or other establishments oversees..
What if I have an apple mac computer?
Users of Apple Macintosh computers and Apple Macintosh operating systems, plus users of Unix and/or Linux operating systems are currently not supported. However, some Macintosh users have successfully used the classroom while operating their Macintosh system while using "iEmulator", "Guest PC" or "Virtual PC".
